The Blue&Green Tróia Design Hotel will be the official hotel of the 4th Portugal Atlantic Tour Comporta 2010 equestrian event, being held between 22 February and 28 March at Comporta.

This unique event on the European and International scene will host the best there is in world equestrianism. Around 350 riders and 750 horses are expected to take part, from 26 countries including France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, Holland, Morocco, Brazil, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan and China.

The great novelties this year will be the introduction of a Dressage (horse ballet) event, which promises to provide a spectacle of rare beauty for enthusiasts of this discipline, as well as a round of the Horseball National Masters Championship.

The various show-jumping events will be held over the course of a month in a veritable equestrian city, with an area of ten hectares and prime conditions for competition horse riding. The event boasts the biggest and best grass show-jumping arena in the country and the largest sand arena in Europe, allowing the horses to perform to their best.

- Total Prize Money of €400,000.
- CSI 2* - Grand Prix events on 28 February, 7 March and 14 March. Points count towards World Rankings and the Folex FEI Ranking. €120,000 Prize Money.
- CSI 4* from 18 to 21 March. “Turismo de Portugal” Grand Prix to be held on 21 March at 2.30pm. Qualifying event for the World Equestrian Games 2010 and the European Championship 2011.
- GPR First Lady Cup. Women’s event – 20 March. €20,000 Prize Money – largest prize money ever to be awarded in this category.
- CDI 4* Dressage event - 26 to 28 March. Kur Grand Prix, €40,000 Prize Money – largest prize money ever to be award in this equestrian discipline in Portugal.
